Blue Surf Property Joins Forces for Community Beach Clean Up
At Blue Surf Property, we believe that being part of the community means more than simply helping people find homes — it also means helping take care of the beautiful island we all share.
Recently, we were proud to collaborate with Salty Souls and Tulum Beach Bar to organise a fantastic community beach clean-up event, bringing together volunteers of all ages for a day dedicated to protecting our coastline and environment.
The turnout and support from the community was incredible. From children as young as 3 years old to elderly volunteers, people came together with a shared goal: to help make our beaches cleaner, safer, and healthier for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the day, volunteers collected large amounts of rubbish and plastic waste from the coastline. Removing this waste not only helps keep our beaches beautiful for local residents and visitors to the island, but also plays an important role in protecting marine life, wildlife, and our oceans for future generations.
The event was about more than just cleaning the beach — it was also a celebration of community spirit. Volunteers were welcomed with a Salty Souls hat and tote bag sponsored by all three of the organisers, while Tulum Beach Bar offered participants a complimentary drink to enjoy after the clean-up. The atmosphere throughout the day was relaxed and uplifting, with a talented handpan musician performing during the event before DJs carried the energy into the afternoon.
It was inspiring to see so many people giving their time and energy to such an important cause, and we are incredibly proud to have helped organise the event alongside Salty Souls and Tulum Beach Bar.
