Cyprus Property Sales Bounce Back in September

Cyprus property sales bounced back in September after a small 1% dip in August, according to the latest figures from the Department of Lands and Surveys.

A total of 1,289 contracts of sale were lodged across Land Registry offices on the island—a 15% increase compared to September 2024. This strong performance keeps the market on track to reach its highest annual total since the global financial crisis of 2007.

The figures cover a wide range of real estate, including residential properties, commercial premises, offices, retail units, warehouses, and land. While the Department doesn’t provide a detailed breakdown by type, historical data shows that residential properties typically make up about half of all transactions.
